Psychoanalysis
I see psychoanalysis as one of the most profound and committed approaches to understanding the human psyche. It is a method that does not seek quick fixes, but rather offers the time, space, and depth needed to truly explore who we are.
I strongly believe that everything that receives attention grows. When we invest consistent attention, care, and curiosity into our inner world, something essential begins to unfold. Psychoanalysis, meeting four or five times a week over several years, creates the conditions for this kind of transformation. It allows us to reach deep layers of experience and meaning that are often inaccessible in everyday life. For me, psychoanalysis is not only a therapeutic method but also a path of personal growth. It fosters self-understanding, emotional depth, and a more authentic relationship with ourselves and others.
I am a psychoanalytic candidate with De Nederlandse Psychoanalytische Vereniging (NPaV), "The Dutch Psychoanalytic Association" which is member of the International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA).
